Welcoming you back to rediscover the Singapore Story!

As you prepare to visit us again, please know that we have made updates on the new visiting guidelines based on government regulations. Please refer below for the new visiting guidelines for a safe and enjoyable visit to the Singapore Discovery Centre.

In line with the latest national guidelines on Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) safe management measures released on 6 August 2021, Singapore Discovery Centre will be adjusting the availability of selected attractions and its operating capacity from 13 August 2021.

Before you visit

Visitors are encouraged to purchase  tickets online in advance before visiting the Singapore Discovery Centre to ensure safe distancing and better crowd regulation. 

Admission to the Permanent Exhibits Gallery - Through the Lens of Time is FREE for Singaporeans and PRs. Admission ticket is only required for Non-Singaporeans which can be booked here

How to book your visit (Online)

STEP 1 - Pre-book your tickets on our ticketing page to visit the attractions.
STEP 2 - Select your ticket type, preferred date and time to visit the attractions. 
STEP 3 - Check your booking and complete your ticket purchase.
STEP 4 - Present your e-Ticket at the entry point and the respective attraction entrances for admission.

Important Notice

iWERKS Theatre - With effect from 13 August 2021, entry to the iWERKS Theatre will only be granted with valid proof of full vaccination and check-in via TraceTogether upon admission. Prevailing safe management measures apply. It is highly recommended to make your booking online in advance and arrive 5 to 10 mins before the start of the screening, as entry is strictly not allowed after the show has started. Movie and film schedules are subject to change.

- Documentation/proof of completion for full vaccination is required to be presented upon admission, for persons aged 12 years and above. 
- No request(s) for refund of the booked tickets will be entertained if no valid proof of vaccination is provided. Entry into the facility/attraction will be denied. 
- The above two requirements will take effect from 13 August 2021 onwards.
- Please be reminded to bring along your TraceTogether tokens or check-in to iWERKS Theatre using the TraceTogether app.
- It is highly recommended to make your booking in advance. All seats shown online are subject to availability.
- Please be advised to arrive 5 to 10 mins before the start of the screening as entry is strictly not allowed after the show has started. 
- All movie show dates and show times are correct as per published but are subject to changes without prior notice. 

XD Theatre - With effect from 13 August 2021, entry to the XD Theatre will only be granted with valid proof of full vaccination upon admission. Prevailing safe management measures apply.


- Documentation/proof of completion for full vaccination is required to be presented upon admission, for persons aged 12 years and above. 
- No request(s) for refund of the booked tickets will be entertained if no valid proof of vaccination is provided. Entry into the facility/attraction will be denied. 
- The above two requirements will take effect from 13 August 2021 onwards.

Black Lake Facility - With effect from 13 August 2021, entry to the Black Lake Facility will only be granted with valid proof of full vaccination upon admission. Prevailing safe management measures apply. 

- Documentation/proof of completion for full vaccination is required to be presented upon admission, for persons aged 12 years and above. 
- No request(s) for refund of the booked tickets will be entertained if no valid proof of vaccination is provided. Entry into the facility/attraction will be denied. 
- The above two requirements will take effect from 13 August 2021 onwards.

Black Lake Laser Battlefield - With effect from 13 August 2021, entry to Black Lake Laser Battlefield will only be granted with valid proof of full vaccination upon admission. Prevailing safe management measures apply. 

- Documentation/proof of completion for full vaccination is required to be presented upon admission, for persons aged 12 years and above. 
- No refund of the booked tickets will be entertained if no valid proof of vaccination is provided. Entry into the facility/attraction will be denied. 
- The above two requirements will take effect from 13 August 2021 onwards.
              

Upon arrival 

Visitors are strongly advised to arrive on time and to visit the attractions within their selected time slot in view of controlled admission capacity.

Check-in via TraceTogether. Visitors can scan the TraceTogether QR Code at the attraction entrance located near the handicap lot. You are strongly encouraged to download the TraceTogether App with the Bluetooth function on their mobile devices switched on. 

Visitors are required to take their temperature upon arrival at the entrance by scanning their face at the automated temperature screening machine. Visitors with temperature above 37.4 would not be allowed to enter the premise and are strongly encouraged to seek medical attention immediately. 

During your visit 

Mask up

Please wear your mask at all times, except when eating and drinking.

Follow safe distancing measures

Keep a safe distance of at least 1-metre between each other, especially in queues and crowded areas.

Group size of 5

When visiting, group size should not exceed 5 persons WEF 13 August 2021.

Maintain personal hygiene

 

Please maintain personal hygiene throughout your visit by frequently washing and sanitising of hands while moving from one point to another. Hand sanitisers are available at key contact areas for your convenience.

Monitor your health

 

If you are feeling unwell during your visit, please approach our Guest Service Associates for assistance and we encourage you to seek medical attention immediately

Safety precautionary measures

The safety and wellbeing of all our visitors and staff remains our top priority. Here are the implemented enhanced precautionary measures we put in place to ensure visiting is safe for everyone. 

These measures include the following:
Safe Distancing Measures - Clearly demarcated queue lines, signage and ground markers have been administered site-wide to ensure 1-metre spacing between guests.
Mandatory Contact Tracing and Temperature Screening - All visitors must have their temperatures screened and check-in and check-out via the TraceTogether system. 
Personal Hygiene Measures - Hand sanitisers will be made available at all key access points, and visitors and staff are required to wear masks.
Periodic Disinfection Protocol - Periodic disinfecting will be done throughout the common areas. Individual attractions will have periodic cleaning and disinfecting schedule.
